It began on the back of old receipts and school margins. A desperate need to translate the silence into shapes.
Technique met emotion. I stopped drawing what I saw and began drawing how the light felt against the shadows.
A summer spent under zinc roofs and between the pages of old books in Le Marais changed everything.
I believe that every face is a map of stories untold. My work isn't just about likeness; it's about the resonance of a moment caught between breaths.
Using traditional materials like compressed charcoal and vellum, I aim to create a tactile connection between the subject and the viewer.
